In March 2023, under the OSRC Flagship Programme, sequencing equipment was purchased along with accessories and a set of reagents.
NextSeq 2000, a new generation high-throughput sequencer from the American company Illumina, generates short readings and enables, among other things: single-cell gene expression analysis, whole exome sequencing, total RNA sequencing.
The device was installed in the Małopolska Centre of Biotechnology.
